Job Description
AERIUM Analytics Inc. is currently seeking to fill the following role:

An RPAS Pilot is responsible for completing ground and flight operations including mission planning, briefing, execution, debriefing, aircrew field supervision, and ground/flight safety. Serves as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of assigned Remotely Piloted Aircraft System(s) (RPAS). This RPAS Pilot must be able to work on a 14 days on / 14 days off basis from April 1st until November 15th, 2023, in Northern Alberta. Flights will be provided from either YYC or YEG. This is a yearly recurring opportunity between April 1st– November 15th. Potential contract extensions from November 16th to March 31st will be discussed and will be dependent on project load with AERIUM.

This is a contract-based position with a day rate of $500.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Transport Canada Basic Pilot Certification
  • Quadcopter Experience
  • Safety first attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Be able to pass Transport Canada background check
  • Valid Passport and Class 5 Drivers License
  • This position is subject to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

Bonus skills:

  • Model Aircraft Experience
  • Transport Canada Advanced pilot certification
  • Valid ROC-A (Restricted Radio Operators Certificate – Aeronautical)
  • H2S Alive, First-Aid, WHMIS, Wildlife Awareness Certifications
